San Francisco Bay Area, CA

We are opening a new veterinary emergency center in the SF Bay area of CA. Though this facility will be a new center, the overall practice has a long standing practice in the area and is committed to the community.

We are seeking someone who can perform veterinary technician duties as this is just starting up but with strong management and leadership skills. As the practice grows and you build the team your role will change and you will have less and less technical responsibilities.

We use AIS software. We have a core, excellent management/administrative group so financial duties will be very little of your job description though it will be important that you understand the financial aspects of our industry. The majority of the job description will be with personnel management and clinical operations development and refinement.

The successful candidate will have at least five years experience as a veterinary technician, license not required; and at least 2 years leading a team. Excellent growth potential.

FT nursing manager position available at progressive veterinary specialty/emergency facility in Rochester, NY, including eves/weekends. Will be responsible for participating with supervisory team to effectively manage veterinary nursing staff.

Nursing supervisor team is fiscally responsible for effectively operating the nursing department. The team’s goal is to work effectively with other departments to achieve a successful, profitable department.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum two years clinical experience in a fast-paced veterinary hospital; proven results in team building/motivation; administrative experience preferred. License required. Approximately 80% of the position will be management with the other 20% working as a technician. This position is salaried and will require approximately 40 hours per week.
